* Remove the automations module
Drops the visual workflow builder end to end: actions, node runners,
commands, jobs, models, observers, policy, resources, requests, routes,
broadcast channel, scheduler entries, Horizon supervisor, Vue pages and
components, canvas undo/redo history, CodeEditor, translations, factories
and tests.
A new migration rewrites posts.created_via = 'automation' to 'web' and
drops the five automation tables. The CreatedVia::Automation enum case is
removed. The 2026-08-21 social-account identity migration now skips its
automation node repointing when the automations table no longer exists,
so it stays re-runnable after the drop.
Orphaned dependencies removed: simplepie/simplepie, @vue-flow/*,
codemirror and @codemirror/*.

rehearsal test now recreates the automations table it expects instead.

- Remove previewOnly / aiGenerateVariants: the only caller that set the
prop was the deleted automation Generate node.
- Run pint over lang/*/common.php after the beta key removal.

The project's test strategy is backend + e2e only, so drop the Vitest setup that had been added for the crop math: the imageCrop.test.ts suite, vitest.config.ts, the dependency and test:unit script, the CI step, and the test:all reference. The crop math is exercised through the Pest browser test.
Add Vitest (test:unit) with exact-value tests for the crop math (containScale, defaultSelection, clampSelection, all resizeSelection corners, and mime/filename resolution), and wire it plus the Pest browser test into CI. The browser test now samples output pixels against a four-quadrant fixture, so it detects a blank, flipped, or wrong crop rather than only asserting a 512x512 canvas. Add composer test:all to run PHP + Vitest + browser tests locally.
Selecting an avatar or workspace logo now opens a crop dialog (drag + zoom)
before uploading, so the image is framed the way it renders. The crop is
performed client-side and the resized 512x512 result is what gets uploaded.
This reworks the idea from #131 without its cropper dependency: vue-advanced-cropper
was last released ~2 years ago and we did not want an unmaintained package for
something this load-bearing. What we need is narrow (fixed 1:1, a circle/square
mask, fixed-size output), so a small canvas-based cropper covers it:
- imageCrop.ts: pure transform math (cover-fit, clamp, zoom, viewport->source).
- ImageCropperDialog.vue: CSS-transform preview, pointer drag, wheel/button zoom,
a ResizeObserver to measure the modal (no requestAnimationFrame timing hacks),
and a canvas toBlob only on save.
- PhotoUpload.vue: opens the cropper on file select; the mask shape follows the
display shape (round avatar / square logo) instead of always being round.
- crop_* strings added to all 15 locales.
Also installs Pest browser testing (pest-plugin-browser + Playwright) and adds a
browser test for the crop flow. TestCase only calls withoutVite() for non-browser
tests, since browser tests need the real Vite assets to boot the SPA. The Pest
browser server does not parse multipart uploads, so the test asserts the crop
dispatches the correct upload request; endpoint persistence stays covered by
ProfileUpdateTest.
Replace free-text brand_tone/brand_voice_notes with a single structured
brand_voice_traits JSON column backed by the BrandVoiceTrait enum, exposed
as choice-chip pills in the brand settings UI and autofillable from a site.
Brand voice and visuals become per-automation toggles on the Generate node.
Unify the image controls into one 0-10 picker (0 = text-only, 1 = single,
2+ = carousel) and feed the generator the most restrictive selected network
so copy fits every platform. Pass that same platform context through the
humanizer pass — extracted into a shared ResolvesPlatformCopyBudget trait —
so the rewrite can no longer drift past the character cap the generator
respected, in both the automation and manual creation flows.
Persist the trigger node's schedule editor fields on save (they were
silently dropped by validated() for lacking validation rules).
Generation
- Generate node now produces the full post (text + AI image + carousel)
via a shared PostImagePipeline extracted from StreamPostCreation
- Generate config UI mirrors the /posts/create wizard (carousel slide
count, include-image toggle); drop the decorative format/unsplash keys
Flow correctness
- RSS/HTTP nodes expose named has-items (default) and no-items output
handles, labeled and colored like the Condition node
- AdvanceAutomationRun records a no_matching_edge terminal instead of
completing silently; "0 new items" feedback in the test panel
- Manual/test runs no longer persist the production dedup watermark
Run reliability
- Pause truly halts in-flight runs (production only; manual test runs
always run regardless of automation status)
- ProcessAutomationNode::failed() marks the run failed
- automation:recover-stuck-runs and automation:prune-dry-runs commands
Webhook / HTTP
- Branded User-Agent (config-driven) on outbound webhook + http_request
- Webhook fails on invalid JSON instead of silently sending {}
- HTTP custom headers editor; CodeMirror-based CodeEditor for JSON
Editor UX
- Header Test button only opens the panel; the panel has a Run button
(saves first) and owns the with-real-data toggle
- Clicking a node closes the test panel and opens its config
- Node cards: max-width + truncate so long URLs don't grow the node
